"Hello, sun in my face. Hello, You who made the morning and spread it over the fields...Watch, now, how I start the day in happiness, in kindness..."

Quick message:

If you've noticed that new paintings haven't been put on the site in a while, you'd be right! I'm currently working on illustrating a children's novel I've written. Prints from the illustrations will be available at some point, and hopefully the book, too!

Fine art prints for lovers of wildlife, songbirds, flowers, the simple gifts of life, and just being outdoors.

Check out the lap/baby quilts if you have a sweet little one you'd like to wrap up in something homemade or if you just want a nice lap quilt for keeping cozy while you're reading a book and sipping tea!

Note from the Artist:

There is a quote by Eric Liddell that has always resonated with me: "God made me fast, and when I run, I feel His pleasure." I think that's why I find so much joy in the creative work that I do.

I began to practice painting in 2012 after I graduated from college. It took me a little while to find what medium and subjects I enjoyed, but I really wanted to try to paint songbirds.

Since then, I have learned (and am still learning with each painting) how to reach through the paper with the paintbrush to finally be able to "touch" each bird, animal, or plant. That specific moment of each painting is so special to me, and it fills me with joy and gratitude each time.

To me, painting is an act of worship and thanks to God. I want my prayers of gratitude to be reflected in each painting, and call those who see them to look for songs of thanksgiving in the little, the everyday, and the overlooked.

I now live with my sweet husband Matthew in Bumpus Mills, Tennessee.
